YOGA & MEDITATION

Yoga is about physical health, but also about mental health.

        Individual Yoga Session

Individual Yoga sessions will be tailored specifically for your needs and allow you to work on the poses and stretches that make sense for you on your schedule and at your own pace. 

These sessions allow you to ease into yoga in a safer manner, with proper alignment and a clear focus on your goals. 

The sessions will be comprised of posture training, pranayama and relaxation training. 

Prāṇāyāma & Meditation

Prāṇāyāma means the control of Prânas. Breathing practices are techniques within prāṇāyāma to increase the life-force. To increase prana, one must gain greater awareness through the control of thought-waves in the mind which must be reflected in one’s lifestyle. Prāṇāyāma is a way of living in harmony with the body, mind, and spirit.
Pranayama not only benefits overall well-being but also improves mental health and helps in alleviating the symptoms of certain physical conditions.

 

Meditation allows practitioners to observe patterns of the mind and to notice the interrupting thoughts, eventually leading to longer gaps between them over time. Regular practice enables deep concentration to occur naturally and more frequently. Training the mind in this way dramatically improves mental strength and focus.
